The Masterbuilt Gravity Series 600 with Starter Pack pairs a digital charcoal grill and smoker, holding any temperature from 107°C to 371°C (225°F to 700°F) for up to 18 hours, with a fitted cover and lump charcoal.
Fill the GravityFed hopper with lump charcoal or briquettes, light it with a fire starter and set the temperature on the control panel or in the Masterbuilt app. It reaches smoking temperature in about 7 minutes and 371°C (700°F) in about 10, so a midweek burger and a weekend rack of ribs both start quickly. The 3,868 sq cm of cooking space takes five racks of ribs or 28 burgers, and everything on it picks up the smoky depth of real charcoal.
The DigitalFan holds the set temperature for up to 18 hours of low-and-slow cooking as gravity feeds fresh charcoal to the fire. Dual-wall insulation keeps in heat, smoke and moisture, the reversible cast iron grates have a sear side and a smoke side, and the app tracks up to four meat probes and sends alerts.
