The Mini Stack sits on the grill's locator pins and adds trays at three heights above the charcoal. Move food up to slow the cook or rest it, down to keep it going, without touching the fire. On the HAKO it covers the whole grill; on the NAKA it takes up one section, leaving the rest free for direct grilling.
