Kamado Joe Grill & Sear Plate for Classic & Junior (KJ15090620)

Kamado Joe Warranty – Full Details

Every Kamado Joe product carries a limited manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The same warranty applies across the whole Kamado Joe range, with different parts covered for different lengths of time. Cover starts on the original date of purchase.

WHAT'S COVERED AND FOR HOW LONG

- Lifetime – ceramic parts: Key ceramic parts, such as the dome and base, are covered for as long as the original purchaser owns the grill.
- 5 years – metal parts and Kettle Joe: Key metal and cast iron parts are covered for five years. Kettle Joe grills are also covered for five years.
- 3 years – electronics, heat deflectors and pizza stones: Electronic components (including those on Konnected Joe models), heat deflectors and pizza stones are covered for three years.
- 2 years – miscellaneous parts and accessories: Miscellaneous components, including the thermometer and gaskets, and all standalone Kamado Joe accessories are covered for two years.

YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR GRILL

Kamado Joe requires every product to be registered for the warranty to apply. Please register your grill as soon as possible after purchase at international.kamadojoe.com/pages/product-registration.

HOW A CLAIM IS HANDLED

If a part develops a defect in materials or workmanship during its warranty period, under normal use and maintenance, Kamado Joe will repair or replace the defective part at no cost to you for the part itself. Kamado Joe decides whether to repair or replace. Kamado Joe pays the shipping on warranty parts. Labour and any other costs of servicing, repairing or operating the grill are not covered.

CONDITIONS OF COVER

- The warranty covers the original purchaser only.
- The grill must be bought from an authorised Kamado Joe dealer. Buying from an unauthorised seller voids the warranty. Open Flame BBQ is an authorised dealer.
- The grill must be registered with Kamado Joe.
- Commercial use: grills used in a commercial setting are covered for one year only, on all parts. Mobile or pop-up use, such as food trucks, is not covered.

WHAT ISN'T COVERED

The warranty covers defects, not normal wear or damage. It doesn't cover:

- Normal wear and tear, such as scratches, dents, dings and chipping
- Changes in appearance that don't affect how the grill performs
- Damage from misuse, or using the grill for anything other than its intended purpose
- Damage from incorrect use, assembly, installation or maintenance
- Accidents or natural disasters
- Unauthorised attachments or modifications
- Damage during transport

MAKING A CLAIM

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights, which are not affected.
